Course Description: |
"Turning Point: Collaborating for a New Century in Public Health" is a national program supported by the Robert Wood Johnson and the W. K. Kellogg Foundations. The goal of this initiative is to transform and strengthen the public health infrastructure in the U.S. so that states, local communities, and their public health agencies may respond to the challenge to protect and improve the public's health in the 21st century. Bobbie Berkowitz, Director of the Turning Point National Program Office, will highlight some of the successful projects funded through this initiative. Tina Gerardi of the NYS Nurses Association will introduce some New York State projects. |
