Course Description: |
Dr. Antonia C. Novello, New York State Health Commissioner, will provide an update on the State Health Department's major health initiatives, including health insurance programs for the uninsured and initiatives to reduce the impact of breast and cervical cancer, diabetes, asthma, HIV/AIDS, West Nile virus, and tobacco use. She will also provide an update on New York's efforts to protect New Yorkers from future acts of terrorism, including bioterrorism. |
