Course Description: |
This is an internationally oriented health services planning and evaluation methods course of the Department of Health Policy and Management and is one of the required courses in its International Health Management Track. The course covers needs assessment at the individual, institutional, and community levels, planning concepts and methods, monitoring of health systems, evaluation design, and program evaluation at the local, state and national levels. Participants will complete a series of exercises in developing an evaluation strategy for a specific community, institution, or group of high risk individuals and present a summary of their reports at the end of the course. |
