The medical aspects of pharmacotherapy with methadone, methadone maintenance treatment practices, facts and myths about methadone treatment, and laws/regulations of methadone treatment will be covered. Along with special topics in this specified treatment including needle exchange programs, HIV/AIDS, communicable diseases, and criminal justice involvement. |
