Course Description: |
"CoMNET" a recurring bi-monthly videotape satellite training and news broadcast offering Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) related awareness information to the nation's civilian and military emergency response communities.
The June topics will cover "Detectection Technologies, in WMD Operations," "Intergrating Public Works Operations with the Incident Command Structure," and "Operational and Scene Security"
Program Objectives:
While the hybrid form of CoMNET allows for program diversity, the videotaped format for CoMNET includes:
- WMD related news stories collected from around the country presented in a news magazine reporting
format.
- Feature stories on WMD response equipment designed to introduce or familiarize the first responder
community with "reputable" equipment items.
- Feature stories on WMD training events conducted in communities throughout the country.
- Feature stories on WMD training resources/facilities that are available to the response community.
