Course Description:	Given recent events such as the September 11 terrorist attacks and the ensuing anthrax contamination scare, it has become clearer that health care facilities must make new and additional preparations to ensure that their emergency response systems are capable of handling any kind of mass casualty or bioterrorism-related incident. In addition, facilities need to be ready to answer questions from the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) surveyors as they evaluate disaster preparedness plans. This course will summarize the key issues about which you should be knowledgeable regarding emergency preparedness in this new climate. Users will have 30 day access to the course upon registration. Upon successful completion of the course, students attaining a score of 80% or higher will receive a certificate of completion which may be used for documentation of your participation in the course and toward your continuing education credits for maintenance of the CPHQ, pre-approved by the HQCB.

Excellent prep course for healthcare

This course covers it all and I would highly recommend it. We use a lot of this company's training materials at our hospital and HCPro's computer learning materials are usually very comprehensive.
