Welcome to the Council on Linkages Between Academia and Public Health Practice's message board about the development of a National Public Health Practice Research Agenda. Currently, there is a growing concern in the public health arena that there is an insufficient science-base in public health to adequately protect and promote the health of the public. This message board can be used to discuss and share information and documents about public practice research including on-going efforts to promote and advance a national public health practice research agenda.

Special Note: Comment now on public health practice research issues to be discussed at a special research "Forum" at the 2001 American Public Health Association Meeting in Atlanta!
